Tips
For many schools, the key assessment windows are the busiest times of the year. Check out the tips below to ensure a smooth start to your testing:
- Know who your Access Coordinator is: the Access Coordinator is your user manager for MARK. They are responsible for setting up and managing your users, classes, and year groups.
To find out who your Access Coordinator is, log in to MARK and click the green Admin Hub icon in the top right corner. Next, go to Teachers > With Access and look for the user assigned the 'Access Coordinator' role.
Alternatively, contact the digital support team. - Download your test guidance documents and mark schemes. To find your test resources, log in to MARK and click the three horizontal lines in the top left corner, then select Test Resources.
Can't find the test resources you need? Contact your local assessment consultant. - Promote your pupils to the correct year groups and classes. Whether you manage your pupils manually or by syncing with your MIS, your Access Coordinator will need to promote them at the start of a new academic year.
For guidance on manually promoting your pupils, click here; for guidance on promoting pupils when synced with your MIS, click here. - Assign your interactive test credits. If you plan to assess your students online, you will need to assign the tests to them in MARK.
