Introduction
There are two account types in Boost Insights: teachers and learners.
Teacher accounts are divided into three roles: Teachers, Teacher Admins, and the Access Coordinator.
This article will introduce you to each account type and role.
Regardless of role, all teachers can assign tests, review and populate marksheets, and generate reports, as long as they've been granted access by the Access Coordinator.
The Access Coordinator
The Access Coordinator is your user manager. They are responsible for ensuring that the users on your account are up to date and have been granted access to the site. Likewise, they are responsible for withholding or revoking access to users who don't need to see your learner or assessment data.
The Access Coordinator can manage your users manually or by syncing with your MIS.
If you used MARK in the past, then your Access Coordinator will carry over to Boost Insights. Their login credentials will remain the same (this is true for all users).
If you have not used MARK, then the first person to order a Boost Insights product to your account will be asked to nominate an Access Coordinator. We recommend your data manager, network administrator, or assessment lead, but you can choose any member of staff that you think is best suited to the role.
Note that while you can set a different Access Coordinator for each of our platforms, you can only have one Access Coordinator per platform.
If you're an Access Coordinator and would like to reassign the role to someone else, see Editing Teachers in Boost Insights.
Alternatively, if your Access Coordinator has left without reassigning the role or you're not sure who your Access Coordinator is, please contact the digital support team.
Teacher Admins
Teacher Admins can view the Admin Hub and manually add new teachers and learners. These users will be automatically placed in With Access. They can also add and remove learners from custom groups in the orange Groups tab.
Unlike the Access Coordinator, however, Teacher Admins cannot grant or revoke access to existing users, edit their details, or delete them.
There is no limit to the number of Teacher Admins you can have.

Learners
Learners do not log in to Boost Insights directly. However, they must still be registered in the Admin Hub under Pupils > With Access to appear on test assignments, marksheets, and reports.
