Introduction
Before you can assign interactive tests to learners or upload their paper marks, they must be registered to your school's account and have access granted to the site. At the start of a new academic year, you must promote them to their new year groups and classes.

Pupils Tab Overview
You can view and manage your learners from the Pupils tab of the Admin Hub.
To find it, log in to Boost Insights and click the Admin Hub icon in the bottom left, then click the blue Pupils tab.
Underneath the Pupils tab, you will see three additional tabs:
- With Access: learners in this column will appear in Boost Insights. You can assign tests to them, view their marks, and see them on reports. They will be able to log in to tests that you've assigned them using their date of birth and test code.
- Without Access: learners in this column are hidden in Boost Insights. You will not be able to assign them tests, view their marks, or see them on reports, and they will not be able to log in to any tests you may have assigned before their access was revoked.
- Pending Deletion: learners in this column are hidden in Boost Insights and will be permanently deleted after six months. See Deleting Learners in Boost Insights for more information.
You can sort the lists under each tab in ascending or descending order by clicking the headers. Search for specific users by typing their name into the search box in the top right corner.
Even if you are new to Boost Insights, you may find that some of your learners are already listed in the Pupils tab. This is because the Admin Hub for each platform is linked: when you add a new user to one, they will automatically appear in all the others, but they will be placed in Without Access by default. This is to save you from having to register the same users over and again if you use two or more of our platforms.
