Generating Shine Interventions Reports
There are two types of Shine Interventions report: Individual and Grouped. For more information, see Shine Interventions Report Types.
Before you can generate a Shine Interventions report, you must record your learners' marks in Boost Insights for the corresponding test paper. You can do this by administering interactive tests or uploading paper test results.
Once your learners' marks are on the system, follow our instructions for generating reports.
Finding and Using the Interventions/Learning Sequence Resources
You can access the interventions/Learning Sequence resources via links embedded in the Individual and Grouped Shine Interventions reports.
Each Learning Sequence is a unit of remedial content that addresses an area of learning in each term. They are arranged in a specific order and contain instructions tailored to teachers and teaching assistants.
At the bottom of this page you will find the record and impact forms, guidance documents, and monitoring sheets required to support your use of the Learning Sequences.
Assigning AMT and ART Progress Quizzes and Strand Tests
Shine Interventions: AMT and ART include Progress quizzes for you to administer post-intervention to check your learners' progress and retention.
Shine Interventions: AMT also includes Strand tests. These are used pre-intervention to determine which specific Learning Sequences a learner needs intervention in based on their AMT test results (each strand contains several Learning Sequences).
You will need an active Shine Interventions: AMT and/or ART subscription to administer these tests and quizzes, but they do not require additional AMT and ART interactive test credits.

Generating AMT and ART Intervention Quiz Reports
Once your learners have completed their AMT or ART intervention quizzes, you can generate two reports: an 'Intervention Progress Quiz Report' and an 'Intervention Quiz Report: Comparison View'.
The 'Intervention Progress Quiz Report' can be generated for a class or group. It will show each learner’s total score as a percentage and how they've performed on each question.
The 'Intervention Quiz Report: Comparison View' can be generated for a class or group. It allows you to compare a learners’ results to track their progress. You can select up to six quizzes and must select a minimum of two to generate the report.
For further guidance, see Generating Reports.
Using the Modelling Software for Shine Interventions: Reading Skills and GPS
