You'll have purchased a set number of Student eTextbooks, and can allocate these to your students until you've reached your limit. You need to be a Teacher Administrator or a User Manager / Access Coordinator do do this - if your login is teacher only and you’d like admin access, contact your Access Coordinator.
Once you’ve logged into DL, select your package. When you’re on the course homepage, scroll down to the Student eTextbook that you want to allocate. Under each one you’ll see an “allocate” button, plus a note of how many are available in the account to allocate to students.

If you have purchased a variety of licence-lengths for your eTextbooks, check that you have selected the correct one:
You can either tick the box next to each student name one at a time to put them onto the list on the right-hand side, or use the group filter button to allocate to a whole group in one click. This only works if you've previously collated your students into groups.
Once you’ve finished selecting the students who need access, you may wish to allocate a copy to yourself, or other teachers. To do this, use the "Allocate myself a copy" and then "Confirm allocation", or, to allocate to other teachers, select “All teachers” from the filter dropdown, and then choose the teachers you want to allocate the book to.
When you’ve finished and you're happy with the list of users on the right-hand side, click on the “Confirm allocation” button.
The users who have been allocated a copy will now find they have access to the student e-textbook the next time they log in, either in their browser, or using the Dynamic eReader application on a device.
