There are two ways you can give access to your students. One is by sharing a direct access link, and the other is by sharing the resource directly to your students’ accounts. Both methods are laid out below.
Please note that if you would like to have usage statistics on your archives, you will need to set up your students with their own account. We are unable to gather statistics on access via the Direct Access Link, as this does not require any log-in.
Direct Access Link
You can either watch this short video on how to share the magazine archives, or follow the instructions beneath.
Any teacher signed into their account can generate the Direct Access Link. The button to generate this URL can be found at the top of your Archive package:
When this link is used, your students will automatically be able to access any archive you have subscribed to, without needing to use any login details. Please note that there are two different links, one for the GCSE magazine archives and another for the A-Level archives.
Sharing the Magazine Archives through Students' Accounts
If your students are already set up with their own accounts, you can share the archives with them. To do this, click on the 'share' button beneath a magazine archive title you wish to share with students:
You will then be able to select the students on the left hand side list, to add them to the right-hand side list, which confirms the students you are sharing access to the archive with.
To share the entire package of magazine archives in one go, tick the box at the bottom. This will share all of the magazine archive titles within the package with the students you have selected. Once you are happy with your choices, click the green 'save' button.
