To connect MARK to Arbor, you will need to access Hodder Education’s Admin Hub.
The Hodder Education Admin Hub can be accessed via this link. On the log in screen, please enter your Access Coordinator username and password. Your centre ID is not required.
Once you have logged in, please select ‘Manage Admin Hub’. If your centre has access to more than one Hodder Education service, you will be asked to select which one you would like to administrate. Please select ‘MARK’:
Alternatively, log into MARK directly here, and then open up the Admin Hub by clicking on the green icon in the top right hand corner. The Admin Hub will open in a new window or tab.
Select the ‘School’ tab, then select the sub-tab ‘MIS user sync’:
Beneath the Arbor logo, select ‘Authorise’. You will then be redirected to the Arbor site where you will be prompted to log in to your Arbor account. If you have access to more than one MIS, you will be asked to select which one you would like to connect.
Once logged in, you must authorise Hodder Education Group’s Admin Hub application to
access your MIS data via Arbor. The screenshot below lists all the data that is required to set
up the connection.
Once you select ‘Approve’ you will be taken back to the Hodder Education Group’s Admin Hub, with the connection to Arbor now established.
In your Arbor MIS, you will be able to see that the connection has been approved by selecting ‘Partner Apps (API Users)’ from the ‘System’ menu. The Hodder Education item will appear in the table on the Approved Apps page:
You are then ready to select 'Start sync':
You can now move on to: Syncing teachers
Deauthorising a connection with Arbor
Should you wish to deauthorise your connection with Arbor, selecting ‘Deauthorise’ within the Authorisation screen of Admin Hub will disable all syncing of users.
You will also need to log in to your Arbor account and go to ‘Partner Apps (API Users)’ from the ‘System’ menu. On the ‘Approved Apps’ page, click the Hodder item. In the slide over, click the red ‘Reject’ button at the bottom.
