We have worked with Alpha Plus, a leading statistical consultancy, to carry out a thorough and statistically valid standard setting exercise on the Optional Tests, so that you can use the information provided above to work out how your children are performing. All of the information is indicative only and is a helpful and valid estimate of the level your children are working at, but not a definite guarantee. Thresholds are indicative only, as a child’s performance on a test can vary and other factors can influence their work on any given day. Performance indicators for Year 1 are divided into Reading and GPS, and do not appear in the combined English report. You can view these Year 1 performance indicators by logging into your My Rising Stars account at https://www.risingstars-uk.com/My-Account.
