The Teacher Dashboard

Introduction

When you log in to Boost as a teacher, the first page you’ll see is the teacher dashboard. This article will provide an overview of the dashboard’s different elements and links to further guidance.

Quick Links on the Main Dashboard and Sidebar

The links on the main dashboard will help you navigate Boost. Shortcuts to these links can be found on the sidebar on the left-hand side of the screen, regardless of which page you're viewing. 

• • Search Bar: This will let you search for specific courses, resources, and eBooks.
    • View our guidance on searching within Boost.  
  • Open a Course: This takes you to the courses you have subscribed to.

  • View a Course Plan: This takes you to all the original and personal Course Plans of the courses you have subscribed to.
    
    • View our guidance on Boost course plans.
  • Browse eBooks: This takes you to the eBooks that you have subscribed to.
    
    • View our guidance on Boost eBooks.
  • Plan a Lesson: This takes you to all the lessons of the courses you have subscribed to.
    
    • View our guidance on Boost lessons.
  • Set a Knowledge Test: This takes you to all the Knowledge Tests of the courses you have subscribed to.
    
    • View our guidance on Boost knowledge tests.
  • Run a Report: This takes you to the reporting area, to run reports on learner performance on the knowledge tests, and on which tasks learners have completed.

  • My Sharing History (sidebar only): This takes you to a record of the resources you have shared with different learners.

Useful Links

In the top right corner of any page in Boost you will see four links:

• • Notifications: This will highlight updates, reminders, and news related to your account. 
    • View our guidance on the notifications tray. 
  • Account: This will let you view and update your account information and log out. 
    • View our guidance on your account options.
  • Admin Hub: This will let you view and manage your users, classes, and groups. 
    • View our guidance on managing users in the Admin Hub.
  • Help: This will take you to the Boost Help Centre's landing page.
