A guide to: marking knowledge tests

The knowledge tests on Boost are marked in two ways. The majority are auto-marked tests, while the rest require a teacher to review the answers and give a mark and/or feedback.

If a teacher is required to manually mark a test, a notification will appear in their account, as well as on the Reports dashboard:

You will then see a new window with tiles for each knowledge test waiting to be marked, teachers can filter by course/knowledge test, keep track of what they need to finish marking, and look back at any previous Marking History:

Selecting a knowledge test tile will take teachers to the marking interface, you will be able to see the answers students have given, download the mark scheme and enter their marks with any feedback:

Once you have saved your teacher-marked responses these will transfer to the students report, for more information on the types of reports available please click here.
