Introduction
The Access Coordinator can edit individual learners' details in the Admin Hub, including their name, username or email, password (for those with usernames), first name, middle name, and last name.
They can also edit learners in bulk by exporting a CSV file.
Editing Learners Individually
- Log in to Hodder Education Magazines as the Access Coordinator.
- Click the Admin Hub icon in the top right.
- Find the learner you want to edit under Students > With access / Without access / Pending deletion. If you want to edit a learner in the Pending deletion tab, you'll need to cancel their deletion first.
- Select the learner's record and click View student in the bottom right or double-click their record.
- Edit the desired fields and click Save.
Editing Learners in Bulk via CSV
- Log in to Boost Insights as the Access Coordinator.
- Click the Admin Hub icon in the top right.
- Go to Pupils > With access and click Export CSV in the bottom right.
- Click Export CSV again.
- Edit the CSV file according to our CSV guidelines.
- Return to Pupils > With access in the Boost Insights Admin Hub.
- Click Import CSV in the bottom right, then Select your CSV... to select the edited file.
- Click Upload CSV.
A pop-up window will show the status of your upload. If any records fail to upload, then you will be able to download a copy of your CSV with the error messages. You can correct and reupload this CSV to import the rejected learners.
During peak times, like the start of a new academic year, your CSV upload will take longer than normal. If your file says it has been validated and is pending processing, rest assured that your file is in the queue. You can exit the Admin Hub if needed without cancelling the upload.
If you are concerned that your file has become stuck (i.e. it has remained as processing for more than 24 hours since the time you uploaded it), please contact the digital support team.
